‘B’ Department Operations

This department is the nerve centre of all operational activities of the Nigeria Police Force.

'B' Department is headed by Audu Abubakar . It is the centre for planning and coordinating joint operations with the military and formulating policies for the control and management of incidents, riots, disasters, suppression of insurrection, trade union disputes, force policies on traffic control and management. It is also the centre for planning and organizing internal security measures and monitoring their execution. This section is vested with the administration and welfare of visiting units of Police Mobile NPF men on special duty and collation and rendering returns of all incidents bordering on crime, and situation/incident in the country to the appropriate quarters.
