'E' Department (Training)

The 'E' Department is one of the six strategic Department of the Nigeria Police Force responsible for training.  It is specifically saddled with the task of formulating and implementing policies on training and manpower development.  Through its programes, the department works assiduously to ensure that the Force is equipped to execute her cardinal responsibility of maintaining peace and order in the society. It is headed by DIG Sardauna Abubakar, NPM.

In view of the importance attached to training in Nigeria Police Force,especially on standards and uniformity, the Department is not replicated like others at the Zonal and State Command levels
